Island Softwash - Terms of Service
Gutter Cleaning:
Our gutter cleaning service includes the removal of debris that may obstruct water flow in your gutters. Island Softwash is not responsible for any blockages that occur underground. We offer a 14-day guarantee on our gutter cleaning services. If your gutters become clogged during this period, we will return to clear them at no additional cost. However, this guarantee does not apply to properties with overgrown trees within 10 feet of the gutter line, blockages caused by improper installation or underground issues. All debris will be safely collected and removed from the property.
Exterior Siding Softwash:
Our soft washing service uses low pressure to clean your exterior siding, removing dirt, grime, algae, and mildew. Please note that this service does not cover excessive staining or buildup from non-organic materials (such as oxidation or stubborn stains), which should be specified on the work order before the service. While we use low-pressure methods, customers are responsible for any damage caused by inadequate maintenance or low-quality building materials. Our service is backed by a 1-Year Mold-Free Guarantee. If mold or mildew reappears within 12 months, we will return and clean the affected areas at no extra charge.
Roof Cleaning & 2-Year Limited Warranty:
Island Softwash uses low-pressure techniques and soft brushing methods to clean your roof, adhering to the manufacturer’s guidelines to ensure a safe and thorough cleaning. We will remove any built-up debris before applying our cleaning solution, which eradicates 100% of organic growth and its root systems. Any remaining dead material may take up to six months to naturally fall off. This method is designed to clean effectively without causing damage to your shingles or tiles.
If mold, mildew, or moss reappears within two years, we will reapply treatment to the affected areas at no cost. This warranty applies to roofs with the correct pitch, including asphalt shingles and composite surfaces that do not have pooling water. Please note that tree branches or debris within 8 feet of the roof may void the warranty. This limited warranty is transferable to new property owners.
Payment Terms:
By approving or signing the estimate, the customer agrees to pay the full amount for the work upon completion. Payment is due within 7 days of the job’s completion. Commercial contracts may be eligible for 30-day net payment terms under a separate agreement. A 5% late fee will be applied to balances overdue by more than 30 days, with additional fees for each subsequent 30-day period. If legal action is necessary, the customer is responsible for any attorney and court fees. All deposits are applied to the final invoice and are non-refundable.
